This is both maddening and sad considering almost 1,300 Americans died securing Anbar province:

Obama last September: “We will degrade and ultimately destroy ISIL.” Replace “ISIL” with “all gains the U.S. and its allies made in Iraq since 2003.”

Responding to the above threat, Obama’s giving Coast Guard graduates a lecture about climate change. Obama’s speech to Coast Guard grads didn’t contain much mention of guarding the coast.
