Baltimore Cop: Spike in Crime Due To Less Policing “Definitely a Result of the Indictment of the 6 Officers (Video)

Sean Hannity had a current Baltimore city police officer on his show, Tuesday evening to talk about the explosive crime wave in his city.

As is now become necessary in the Obama era – the whistle-blowing law enforcement officer had his face hidden, and voice disguised to protect himself from retaliation. In our new upside-down world, those who risk their lives every day to serve and protect us – must be hidden in shame.

The incognito cop explained why the city was seeing a spike in its crime rate: “After the protests it seemed like the citizens would appreciate a lack of a police presence, and that’s exactly what they’re getting. No proactive policing, right now.”

Hannity asked the officer if police in Baltimore are “afraid to do their job.”

“When you go out on the street, you trust that your command staff and those you work with will support you. The point is – the tip of the spear needs the most assurance that your department, your citizens, mayor and city council will have your back.”

The implication being, these cops feel like they’ve been left out to dry.

Hannity asked pointedly if the lack of policing was “a direct result of the indictment of the six police officers.”

“It’s definitely a result of the indictment of the six officers,” the  cop said. “When you have officers out there proactively targeting – trying to get violent criminals off the street, trying to reduce drug activity, trying to get violent offenders off the street, and those who are doing their jobs get indicted for murder, you can’t help but have repercussions…”

He explained that cops are now “apprehensive [about] putting their hands on people, they’re not stopping cars, they’re not looking for drug-dealers. They’re not doing the proactive work that reduced crime in Baltimore for the last 15 years.”

Hannity played a montage of soundbites from the president ripping police officers, and asked for his guest’s thoughts.

“Well, the president can’t speak from the perspective of a police officer because he never walked the beat, he never apprehended armed criminals, he never had to kick a door down to rescue someone from domestic violence situation, so when he doesn’t come across as being even remotely caring for those doing the hard work on the street, it really is disheartening.”

Asked if he thinks the crime wave will get worse as the summer progresses, the cop said, “it definitely going to get worse. It’s the beginning of summer. Summertime is usually the most violent time in the city, I would reckon to say that this is going to be a fairly routine occurrence – double digit shootings, high homicide rates of the course of the next three months.”

Hannity for some reason felt the need to have on a couple of excruciatingly dense and annoying black activists to talk about the “structural white supremacy” that was somehow causing the crime wave.

No, dude on the left, speaking super-fast and regurgitating academic black studies jargon, is not a substitute for intelligence and clarity.

It does induce involuntary eye-rolling and possibly even the launching of projectiles at the TV, I’m guessing.

The look on Sheriff David Clarke’s face following that interview makes the video worth watching to the end.

“Welcome to President Obama’s 21st Century transformation of the institution of policing – and it’s been a disaster,” Clarke dead-panned. “Unnecessary black carnage is what we saw, this weekend, and that officer – one of Baltimore’s finest hit the nail right on the head.”

He continued to say that the officer represented a “growing number of officers across the country that are tired of having all the maladies and pathologies of the American ghetto — piled on them…”
