A couple of weeks ago, former Obama adviser David Axelrod said he wasn’t aware at the time Hillary Clinton was serving as secretary of state that she was using a private server and email address:
Why do we know that was a lie? Because it came out of David Axelrod’s mouth. However, if more evidence is needed for the sake of redundancy, a 2009 email from the hand-picked selection Hillary Clinton decided to turn over to the State Department does the trick:

That said, the emails Hillary Clinton turned over to State (which were edited by Team Clinton and the rest were deleted) are sticks for fetching. In other words, Hillary’s obviously “going long” in red herring futures, because nothing’s been released that hasn’t been first scrutinized, edited or scrap-heaped by somebody wearing a “Grillary Clinton” apron.
Update:
One of the things Team Hillary was probably hoping is that the emails that were released would focus the conversation on others and normalize how she was handling her communications as secretary of state. Mission accomplished:

Even Vox understands what’s going on — or isn’t going on, to put it more accurately.
As for Axelrod, his explanation was so very Clinton-esque.
