Speaking at the Pentagon Monday afternoon, President Obama addressed the growing ISIS (aka “the JV team”) threat. It was everything I expected it to be:
“We’ll constantly reaffirm through words and deeds that we will never be at war with Islam,” President Obama said Monday afternoon. “We are fighting terrorists who distort islam and its victims are mostly Muslims.”
“This challenge of countering violent extremism is not simply a military effort,” the president said. “Ideologies are not defeated with guns but better ideas and more attracting and more compelling vision.”
This is no longer a U.S. president, but a man auditioning to be the official full-time United Nations motivational speaker starting in 2017.
Among the progressive “ideas” Obama and others have come up with to combat ISIS: Blaming terrorism on climate change.
The rest of them just need jobs.
