The Obama administration continues its promotion of an hypocrisy-powered government.
The wind-up:
The Obama administration is set to announce that it will require new rules to cut emissions from airplanes, expanding a quest to tackle climate change that has included a string of significant regulations on cars, trucks and power plants.
The Environmental Protection Agency is expected to report as early as Friday its conclusion that greenhouse gas emissions from airplanes endanger human health because they significantly contribute to global warming…
And the pitch:
A US military C-17 transport aircraft that usually carries at least 100 troops flew to Geneva Airport to pick up Secretary of State John Kerry and flew him to Boston where he’ll be treated for a broken leg.
The Air Force plane touched down in Switzerland on Monday after taking off from a US base in Ramstein, Germany, and then headed to Massachusetts after collecting the 71-year-old politician.
Good thing James Taylor wasn’t with Kerry or they’d have had to use two C-17s.
Not long ago President Obama fired up Air Force One to go to Florida with Bill Nye the Pretend Scientist Guy to warn about the danger from carbon emissions while crop dusting the nation with jet exhaust.
How anybody takes these people seriously is beyond comprehension.
